Devangelic-Phlegethon (2017)

Brutal/technical death metal.  Heavy riffs with intermingling technicalities, the production clarity puts a nice sheen on the instruments, bringing the thundering snare drum to life and giving the guitars a noise-free, crisp distortion that ensures the plethora of guitar notes sound just as clean picked as they actually are. The blasting drum beats and crushing guitar play well off of each other, leaving the blood pumping bass to tie everything together into a smoother presentation. Good audio quality really immerses the listener in the experience, and catchy grooves make sure that the listener stays captivated. Another interesting release of 2017.
